Eleanor A. Friedemann

January 27, 1918 — December 30, 2010

Eleanor Alfreda Friedemann (Sorenson), born January 27, 1918, completed her baptismal journey on December 30, 2010. She was the daughter of Alfred and Eleanora Sorenson and wife of 31 years of Oscar A. Friedemann, who predeceased her in 1978. She served as a legal secretary to William Paynter in Brush, CO and continued her work as secretary at The Letter Shop, the University of Colorado and the Colorado Department of Health for over 46 years. She was a member of Good Shepherd and St. Paul Lutheran Churches in Denver, and an active volunteer for Metro CareRing, Local Assistance Ministry (at St. Paul) and the Colorado Symphony Guild. She is survived by two daughters, Julie and Marie Friedemann, numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and dear friends. Contributions are suggested to St. Paul Lutheran Church, Metro CareRing, the Colorado Symphony or denvertechforall.org. Service of Celebration of Life on Saturday, January 8, 2011 at 10:00 a. m. at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 1600 Grant Street, Denver.
