Eleanor Dale McInerney

Eleanor Dale McInerney was born November 21, 1922 in Litchfield, North Dakota, to Gustave and Hilde Venaas. Dale passed away November 6, 2011 in Lakewood, Colorado. Dale was preceded in death by her brothers, Bjorn Venaas, Owen Venaas and Craig Venaas and her sisters Dorothy Pescheck, Elaine Neidhardt, Audrey Rudy and Shirley Kreidelkamp. Her survivors include her son Michael J. McInerney and his wife Nancy, grandchildren Meghan Shelton and her husband Ryan, Matthew Murcray and his wife Alex, and Melissa Murphy, and her great grandchildren, Cayla Murcray, David, Emily and James Murphy, and Cambria Shelton. Dale was employed by United Airlines from 1954 to 1984 when she retired to travel and devote time to her rose garden. She shared her home with numerous pets including Shaggy, Roger, Thomas, Rosemary and Jeremy. She enjoyed visits from her grandchildren and great grandchildren, and loved reading, gardening and listening to classical music. Dale met life head on and died peacefully in her sleep. A Memorial Service will be held Friday, 1:00PM at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 3020 Federal Boulevard, Denver, Colorado.
