Elisa Bernardi Goodwin

Elisa Bernardi Goodwin, 76, passed away July 7, 2016 in Denver, CO. She was born August 4, 1939 in New York, NY. Daughter to the late Romolo and Viola (Gabbani) Bernardi. Elisa moved to Denver in 1971 to work for Johns Manville in the field of public relations and marketing. After several years of employment with Johns Manville, she decided to open a Public Relations and Marketing firm. Elisa and her husband Walter Goodwin created WF Goodwin and Associates, which would go on to become a successful firm. Walter and Elisa began their Journey as principals of WF Goodwin and Associates. Elisa was very successful with her venture and was passionate about the things she accomplished, even though she was a modest and humble woman and did not let her successes show. Elisa filled her spare time with reading books or enjoying a lovely meal with the company of dear friends. A points in her life Elisa had a light in her, that when it shined it was hard not to see. Even though that light became dim by her struggles with sickness, those who knew her and who loved her, will forever remember the bright woman that she was. Elisa is survived by her nephews Tony and Stephen Becchino and her niece Danielle Becchino. She is predeceased by her parents and her loving husband Walter F. Goodwin and her sister Maria Becchino, mother of Tony and Steven and Danielle. A memorial service will be held at a future date.
