Elisa Antonia Walush

Elisa Antonia Walush, longtime Colorado resident, 97, passed away Aug. 18, 2023 in Pueblo, CO. She was born June 13, 1926, to parents Achilies and Elodia Tabacco.  She had four older sisters Ergie, Bea, Jennie and Alda along with a brother Albert.  Most people throughout her life knew her as “Toni” but many relatives knew her as “Aunt Alice”. She married the love of her life, Charles E. Walush on September 15, 1952 in California.  She is preceded in death by her husband, parents, sisters and brother. She is survived by her daughter, Claudia with husband Paul and granddaughter Elisa, and sons, Drake R. and grandson Drake M. and Charles N., all of Colorado.  It was always a priority to maintain contact with her many nieces, nephews and extended family.  She led a full and adventurous life, moving from Ohio to California at an early age and then moving to Denver where she raised her family.  She was a skilled seamstress and could fix just about anything.  She loved her family and her furry companions.  She will be laid to rest next to her husband in Fort Logan cemetery in Denver.
