Elizabeth Petersen

Elizabeth "Betsy" Petersen, 75, passed away surrounded by her family on July 10, 2020. She was born to Fredrick Horner and Reva DeCann Horner on May 12, 1945 in Michigan.

Betsy is survived by her beloved husband R. Dennis Petersen; her children R. Dennis Petersen II and his wife Emilia Mileva, and R. Dwight Petersen and his wife Raechel Petersen; her son-in-law Frank Silva; her grandchildren R. Dennis Petersen III (Cassie Siegler), Kelli Pearl Leblanc (William), Nicole Lynne Petersen (Josh Palmer), Sydney Petersen, Brooke Petersen, Jacob Petersen, Moriah Petersen, Cora Petersen, Frank Silva Jr, and Isabella Silva; her great-grandchildren Christine Leblanc, Chloe Leblanc, and Caroline Leblanc; her nephews Rick Hill and Gary Hill; her niece Kathy Ferguson; and many other family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her siblings, and her daughter Laura Silva.

The family will be receiving guests on Thursday, July 16th from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at the Horan & McConaty Family Chapel in Arvada, CO. Betsy will be laid to rest at Erie Mount Pleasant Cemetery on Friday, July 17th at 10:00am.
