Elizabeth Ann Cross

Beth was a native of Denver. In 1959, she met Mike at a Roller Skating Club thru their High Schools. In 1961, she graduated from North High School and married Mike in July. In 1962, Mike joined the Army. They had 2 children, were stationed in: Ozark, AL, Ft. Leavenworth, KS & Columbus, GA. In 1965, Mike joined the Air Force. They had 2 more children. As an Air Force wife, the journey took her to Walla Walla, WA; Biloxi, MS; Abilene, TX; Okinawa; Colorado Springs; Denver; Marquette, MI; back to Denver, Germany, and Cheyenne. After 21 years in the Military, they retired and moved to Maryland for Mike's civilian job. They lived there for 11 years before returning home to Denver. With her travels, she managed to travel thru every state including Alaska and Hawaii. Her employment included civil service, several non-profit organizations in Maryland, and, finally, Meals on Wheels in Federal Heights. While at Meals on Wheel, she enjoyed the interaction with all of the people, especially the drivers and co-workers. She is survived by husband Michael. Children: Richard, Ronald, Randy and Renee'. Grandchildren: (Randy) Jessica (24) and David (17), (Ronald) Michael (13) and Ronald Jr. (12). Great-grandchildren: (Randy) Alexus (3) and Gavin (1). In-laws: Cheryl, Sara with her husband David. Nieces, Nephews and all of her wonderful friends. Special acknowledgements to John and Lee Moody, Dave Harris, and Cassandra Owen, whom are also considered her children. Proceeded by her brother's: Steven and Chris Owen. Her Visitation will be held Tuesday, 5PM-8PM at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 9998 Grant Street, Thornton. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday at 2PM also at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel.
