Elizabeth Durnford

Elizabeth Diane Durnford passed away on August 17, 2020. She was born on Laughlin Air Force Base in Del Rio, Texas on May 11, 1990. She is survived by her beloved son Jeremiah Edward Pino; her parents Francis Edward "Ed" Durnford and Cindy Lou Durnford; her siblings Michael Kent Durnford and Matthew Edward Durnford; along with many other loving family members and friends.

Lizzie had an eye for design and spent many hours helping family and friends recreate their kitchens and other interior spaces. She began by re-imagining her parent's kitchen, and working with her mom to bring their vision to life. She was hard working and never failed to make an impression on everyone she met. Lizze's greatest legacy is her beloved son. His laughter and smile will continue to lift the hearts of everyone. It is undeniable how greatly she will be missed.

There will be a visitation on Sunday, August 30th from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at the Horan & McConaty Thornton Chapel. Please note, due to the current health concerns there is a limit to 50 people in the building at a time. Thank you for your understanding.

There will also be a Funeral Mass on Monday, August 31st at 11:00am at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Northglenn. Regrettably, the pandemic has resulted in occupancy restrictions and attendance will be limited to 100 people. Elizabeth will be laid to rest at Mount Olivet Cemetery in Wheat Ridge.

You are invited to join the family for a reception at Ed and Cindy's home beginning at 1:00pm. A balloon launch will be led by Jeremiah at 3:33pm.
