As you brushed against this world so gently, you lifted us."" -TC Ring Elizabeth Judith Gates was born on June 21, 2014 at 2:31 pm to parents Christina Gates and Merl Smith at Saint Joseph's Hospital of Denver. Elizabeth's family was blessed with six beautiful days with her before she went to her heavenly home in the early morning of June 27, 2014. Every moment spent with Elizabeth was so precious. Though she was too fragile to be held, she knew the voices, gentle touch and love of her mother and her aunt, Kimberly Christenson. She showed everyone around her what true bravery and strength can be found in the smallest human beings. The time her family had with Elizabeth forever changed their lives for the better and she will always be an immutable part of their souls. We will never stop missing and loving you sweet pea and we look forward to reuniting with you in heaven. A graveside memorial service will be held for Elizabeth on July 21, 2014 at 2:30 pm at Littleton Cemetery in Littleton, Colorado.
