Elizabeth Ann Herman

Elizabeth “Betty” Herman, 74, passed away on February 23, 2019.

She was born to Elizabeth and Jacob Schaffer on January 21, 1945. She is survived by her children Julianne Lloyd, James (Tonya) Herman, and Joseph Herman; her grandchildren Kyla Lloyd and Tyler Herman; her sister-in-law MaryAnn; 18 nieces and nephews; and many other loving family members and friends. Betty was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband LaVern “Vernie” Herman; and her siblings Jake (Annie) Schaffer, John (Nita) Schaffer, Millie (Mert) Leggott, Albert Schaffer, and Mary Jones.

Betty will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

There will be a Visitation on Wednesday, February 27th at 6PM, immediately followed by a Recitation of the Rosary at 7PM at the Horan & McConaty Family Chapel in Thornton, CO at 9998 Grant Street. A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, February 28th at 10:30AM at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Northglenn, CO at 11385 Grant Drive. Please join the family for a reception at the church following the service.

Betty will be laid to rest at Elmwood Cemetery with her late husband.
