ELIZABETH ANDREA MILES TEACHER BORN OCTOBER 2, 1937 AND PASSED AWAY MARCH 27, 2008 AFTER A LONG BATTLE WITH MS. SHE IS SURVIVED BY HUSBAND JOHN G MILES, SISTERS MARGARET JANE CARPENTER OF SAN FELIPE, MEXICO, NANCY LOU BLAIR, DENVER, COLORADO AND BROTHERS PAUL E WILLIAMS OF SARATOGA, CA. AND JOHN H WILLIAMS OF KAILUA, HI. SHE IS ALSO, SURVIVED BY MANY NIECES, NEPHEWS, STEP CHILDREN AND STEP GRANDCHILDREN WHO LOVED HER DEARLY. SHE WAS PRECEDED IN DEATH BY SISTER MARY LEE SIMMONS. SHE WAS BORN IN FORT SCOTT, KANSAS AND HER FAMILY MOVED TO DENVER WHERE SHE DECIDED TO BECOME A TEACHER. SHE GRADUATED FROM SOUTH HIGH AND CU WHERE SHE OBTAINED HER MA IN EUROPEAN HISTORY. HER TEACHING JOBS INCLUDED HILL, SAN RAPHAEL JR.HI, EAST AND THOMAS JEFFERSON HIGH SCHOOLS. IN 1961-1963 SHE TAUGHT IN VERDUN, FRANCE AS A CIVILIAN FOR THE US ARMY.
