Elizabeth Anne Parkhouse

Elizabeth ""Anne"" Parkhouse passed away on August 13, 2017 in Lone Tree, Colorado. Born on June 11, 1940 in Shipley, Yorkshire, England, the daughter of Agnes Lancaster and Jack Marcham. She attended public schools near Bingley, Yorkshire, England. She owned a horse and dog as a teen and traveled to Canada at age 18 to work for the Hudson Bay Company in Calgary. After a year she returned to England and worked for her mom in her mom's burling and mending business. On September 17,1965 Anne married American Army Captain Ralph Parkhouse in Bingley. Anne and Ralph were stationed in England, New Jersey, Arlington VA, Baltimore MD, New Orleans LA, Springfield VA, Hampton VA, with Anne returning home to England during Ralph's two tours in Vietnam. They moved to Littleton, Colorado in 1977 and lived in the Denver area for the rest of her life. Anne had a passion for raising a family and for playing bridge. Anne is survived by husband Ralph Parkhouse; brother Allan Marcham (Pam Marcham); son Stephen Parkhouse (Pat Parkhouse). daughter Joanne Parkhouse (Jack Song); and five grandchildren. Anne was preceded in death by her parents Jack and Agnes Marcham. Services will be held on Tuesday, August 22, 2017 at 11 a.m. at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 6322 S Lakeview St, Littleton, CO 80120.
