Betty Ray, 79 of Arvada. Preceded in death by husband Don Ray; Beloved Mother of Sharri, Scott, Vickie, Mark and Pam; Step-Mother of Vicki Lee, Diane, Don and Barbara; Sister of Roger Douglass; Also survived by 20 Grandchildren and 15 Great Grandchildren. Betty's family would like to thank all of her dear friends and family for the love and support they offered. Betty spoke often of how blessed she felt to have so many caring people in her life, and how much easier their kindness made these past few months. Betty had also asked her family to express how grateful she was to all of the caregivers and medical staff who helped her during this difficult time and honored her wishes to remain at home. Betty was dearly loved by so many and will be greatly missed. Memorial Service and Reception Tuesday, 1:30 PM, Horan and McConaty Family Chapel, 9998 Grant Street, Thornton; Private Interment, Fort Logan National Cemetery.
