Elizabeth Dudley Toren October 27, 1933-August 16, 2016 Elizabeth Dudley Toren was born October 27, 1933 in Amoy, China and died August 16, 2016 at her home in Denver, Colorado. She is survived by her four daughters: Mary (Warren) Toren-Blair, Margot (Sean) Warren, Carol Toren and Kristin (Rick) Whitworth, 9 grandchildren: Shannon, Tori, Ian, Travis, Kyra, Quinn, Maren, Kari, and Robby, her brother Robert Dudley, and many nieces, nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Ralph Leif Toren. Elizabeth (Betty) was dedicated to her family, her church, community ministry and her many friends and neighbors. She was a loving wife, mother, grandma and sister. Betty was a very strong and brave woman who quietly encouraged her children and grandchildren to do their best. She loved to sew, play bridge, read and swim. She enjoyed traveling and visiting her family and life-long ""clubs friends"". Her British wit and culture, unconditional love, and strength will be dearly missed. Her legacy will carry on in the character of her children and her grandchildren. Betty was very grateful for all of the love, kindness and support from her family, caregivers, friends and neighbors. Memorial Services will be held Saturday, August 27, 2016, 11:00 AM at Christ the King Lutheran Church at 2300 S. Patton Court in Denver, Colorado. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Community Ministry, 1755 S. Zuni, Denver, CO 80223 with a notation in memory of Elizabeth Toren. The burial will be at Ft. Logan Cemetery in Denver, Colorado.
