Elizabeth Esther Carson was born December 16, 1930 to John Luther William and Lillie Esther Williams. She grew up on a farm on the eastern plains of Colorado near Punkin (not Pumpkin) Center and graduated from Limon High School.

After moving to Denver Betty married and had two children. She had a long career as a teller, bookkeeper and finally answering phones for three Denver hospitals.

Betty's greatest joy were her grandchildren. She adored them and they adored her. She loved to travel and visited Australia, Canada, Chile, Italy, Ireland and Mexico as well as all 50 states. She had a passion for puzzles, word, number and jigsaw, it didn't matter. They filled her days to the very end. Betty loved the Lord, had a giving heart and cared for those less fortunate than her.

She is survived by her children, Regina (Pete) and Emery (Karen); grandchildren, Jimy (Xochitl), Chris (Stephanie) and Eryca; great grandchildren, Tyler, Bethany, Baily, Belyn and James and one great-great granddaughter.

A celebration of Betty's life will be held Friday, November 11, 2022 at Horan & McConaty, 3101 S Wadsworth Blvd, Lakewood, CO 80227 at 11:45 a.m. reception lunch, with the service at 1:00 p.m.

Interment will be November 15, 2022 in Pershing Memorial Cemetery, Limon, CO.
