Ellen Goldberg

Ellen Goldberg (known to most as Mary Ellen Goldberg), age 93, passed away peacefully in her home in Highlands Ranch, CO, on December 10, 2020 surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Chicago, IL on February 5, 1927. She later lived in Oskaloosa and Oneida, KS and raised 6 children with Frank Miles(deceased 2006).  Ellen was an RN and worked as staff nurse, charge nurse and instructor for the United Tribes of Kansas.  She moved to Colorado in 1979 where she met and married Richard Goldberg.  She worked with him in his machine shop business (Accutool), as a sales manager and later worked with Richard as an office manager in their business Foothills Associates.

Ellen was an avid reader, a pilot, and an artist.  She owned and managed an art gallery and was a volunteer at the Denver Art Museum for many years.  She is survived by children Linda Daly (husband Steve), Peter Miles (wife Jessie), John Miles (wife Nancy), Howard Miles, Amy Giberson (husband Ralph), David Miles.  Step children; Michael Goldberg (wife Carolyn), Carol Goldberg (husband Steve), Tom Goldberg, 13 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.  Ellen was preceded in death by her loving husband Richard Goldberg on October 22, 2020, daughter in-law Kathy Miles, parents Henry and Ethel Pesch, sisters Ann O'Connell, Patricia Ray and brother Henry Pesch.

Her legacy as a kind and loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt and friend will live on in the hearts of everyone that knew her.
