Elsie Arrieta

Elsie was peacefully welcomed into the gates of heaven on the morning of Tuesday April 26, 2022, surrounded by her family in Aurora, Colorado.

She was born March 6, 1936, in Rincon, New Mexico.

She is survived by 5 children, Noemi Singh (Jonathan), Armando Arrieta II, Arnold Arrieta (Tami), Rev A. Mark Arrieta (Debbie) and Sarai Gholson (Koron). She is also survived by 13 grandchildren Jonathon Singh, Michael Singh, Amanda Mielnicki, Armando Arrieta III, Anthony Arrieta, Kelsi Arrieta, Tyler Untisz, Ryan Untisz, Rev Andrew M. Arrieta II, D. Nicole Heppner, Aaron Gholson, Anissa Gholson and Imani Gholson as well as 14 great grandchildren.

Also survived by her sisters Priscilla Benavidez, Jan Benavidez, Betty Anderson (Steve) and Lily Margaret Boothe.

Elsie is preceded in death by her loving husband of 61 years, Rev. Armando Arrieta, her parents Cardenio and Juanita Benavidez, brothers Tony, Benny, Leo and George Benavidez.
