Elsie Jane Flyr

September 28, 1913 — February 5, 2008

Born September 28, 1913 in Lewiston, Montana. Moved to Wyoming when six years old. Received elementary education in Midwest, Bairoil and Casper, WY and graduated from Natrona County High School in Casper in 1932 In 1933, she married Leroy Arthur Duncan in Casper. This union produced two sons; G. W. Duncan of Aurora, CO, and Charles L. Duncan of Littleton, CO. This marriage ended in divorce in 1956. In December 1959 she married Donald Flyr and they moved to Tioga, North Dakota. She was a certified instructor for the Junior Bowlers. Also, City Secretary for the Women's Bowling League. She was a Life Time member of the Rebekah Lodge in Casper, WY. Upon Donald's retirement, they moved to Texas for a short while and then permanently to Torrington, WY. In addition to G. W. and Charles, she is survived by seven grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husbands, three sisters and one brother.
