Emile O'Bar

Emile O’Bar, passed away quietly, at the age of 93, on June 19^th in Thornton Colorado.  Born in Limestone, Maine, the son of Warren Obar and Almeda Martin, he was a veteran of 20 years in the U.S. Air Force where he met and married his wife, Maria Isabel Ramirez.  In the service, he learned the leadership and electronics knowledge that would dominate his post-service career in sales.  He spent the majority of his life residing and raising his family in the Aurora, Colorado home that he helped build.  He enjoyed post-retirement life with Maria by sharing experiences with family and friends visiting any national landmark within a few days drive of Colorado.  

Emile was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 44 years and his eldest son David.   He leaves behind two sons, Duane (Rachael) and Warren, a daughter, Susan (David Schafer), and four grandchildren, Julianna, Krystal, Aaron, and Ryan.

A quiet mass service for Emile will be held at 10am on July 3^rd, at the Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Aurora, Colorado.  In lieu of flowers, please donate to your preferred charity.
