Emily B. Cooley

Emily B. Cooley, 97 of Aurora, Colorado passed away peacefully March 12, 2019. She was born to her parents Gudrun K. Strom and Axel L. Bergren on January 9, 1922 in Staten Island, New York.

Emily is survived by children: Robert Roy Cooley (Sandra), Daniel A. Cooley (Susan), Patricia J. Rodriguez (Rodney), Barbara A. Hanks (Elmer), Debra S. Costigan (John); grandchildren: Patrick, Diana, Daniel, Jennifer, Christopher, Tracie, Michael, Mackenna, Jack, John, James and Shannon, 25 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild, siblings: Walter (Ginny) and Herb (Shirley).

She is preceded in death by her husband: Robert A. Cooley, parents: Gudrun K. Strom and Axel L. Bergren.

In honor of Emily, a Rosary will be held Monday, March 18, 2019, 6:30PM at Horan & McConaty Funeral Home (11150 East Dartmouth Ave. Aurora, CO 80014). Funeral Mass will be held 10:00AM, Tuesday, March 19, 2019 at Risen Christ Catholic Church (3060 S Monaco Pkwy, Denver, CO 80222), reception to follow.
