Emily Jennie Lopez

Emily Jennie Lopez, 83, of Lakewood, Colorado, passed away on February 8, 2013. She was born in Denver, Colorado, on July 21, 1929 to Robert and Rose Padilla who preceded her in death. She is also preceded in death by three of her children Samuel Martinez, Daniel Lopez and Roselyn Lopez; and grandson Robert Martinez. During her lifetime, Emily was a bi-lingual school teacher. Emily is survived by her husband Henry Enrique Lopez; her daughters Deborah Valdez and Bernadette Lopez; nine grandchildren Stacie Sosa, Jarrod and Jeremiah Abeyta, Rhonda and Angela Martinez, Henry Ramirez, Mario, Michael and Daniel Lopez; nineteen great~grandchildren Desiree and Armando Hernandez, Samantha Maes, Mercedes Cruz, Lluvia, Antonio and Julia Sosa, Jerrica Coronado, Jessica and Breyanna Sandoval, Destiney Baray, Vincent, Marcus, Vannessa, and Robert Martinez, Mario, Adela, Elexus Ruiz and Santino Lopez; and sixteen great~great~grandchildren Mia, Xzavier, Sergio, Ishmael, Giovanni, Zitlali, Josiah, Raelynn, Josiah, Julian, Jordan, Araya, Armando, Yazmine, Damiane and Kane. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, Februry 20, at 11:00 a.m. in Horan & McConaty's Family Chapel, 3020 Federal Boulevard, Denver. Burial will follow the service at Crown Hill Cemetery, 7777 West 29th Avenue, Wheat Ridge.
