Emily Ann Watson

Emily Ann Watson was welcomed to the world on May 31, 1990 in Denver, Colorado. She spent the next 20 years bringing joy to her family and friends, in her own very special way. As a young child, Emily always loved to run and be outdoors. Never one to sit still for long, she loved to play soccer, wrestle with her brother and was proud to be on the boys baseball team. Her love for animals also began at a very young age, and one pet was never enough! Streaker and Stuart, the cats, were her faithful companions for many years, and she theirs. Emily developed a passion for photography, which she was studying at the University of Colorado, Denver. At the age of 20, she had grown into an independent, creative, compassionate young woman. She often selected the road less traveled, and she traveled that road with confidence and the courage of her convictions. Emily quietly shared her unique spirit with those who stopped to listen, and we were always better for the time we spent with her. Emily will be cherished and missed by her family: Her parents, Beckie Watson and Jim and Ann Watson, siblings Erin and Blake, special friend Joe LoVerde, Grandmothers Delores Nelson and Marge Watson, and many aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Gail Nelson and Paul Watson.
