Emily Margaret Weisiger

Emily, 87, of Littleton, passed away on June 18, 2010. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Weisiger, Jr. She is survived by her four sons: Joseph (Peggy), Kenneth (Kathie), Daniel (Barbara), and Jonathan (Judy) Weisiger; 11 grandchildren; and 2 great grandchildren. Emily Margaret Hooper was born in Fayetteville, Arkansas (1922) and graduated at the University of Arkansas (1943), majoring in English and History. She married Joe Weisiger, Jr. on August 30, 1944. An accomplished pianist, Emily enjoyed teaching piano, French and English throughout her life. She was an active member of Delta Gamma, Daughters of the American Revolution, and Daughters of the American Confederacy. Funeral services will be held at Littleton Cemetery on Tuesday, June 22, 2010 at 10:00 am. Donations can be made to the charity of your choice in Emily's memory.
