Emma B. Purcell

Emma (Blea-Sanchez) Purcell, Beloved Mother, Nana, Sister & Aunt passed away on February 24, 2016 at the age of 101. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Joseph Purcell. Emma is survived by her three children: Roberta (Dan) Rhoades of Arvada, CO; William (Debbie) Purcell of Arvada, CO; and John (Susan) Purcell of Lakewood, CO, eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Emma was a beautician for 60 + years, loved to travel, enjoyed crossword puzzles, gardening, driving fast in her Volkswagen bug, visiting with neighbors, friends and family, and listening to country western music. Her favorite flower was the red rose and her favorite meal was a junior whopper from Burger King. A Rosary service will be on Wednesday, March 2, 2016 at 9:30 am at Holy Ghost Church, 1900 California Street, Denver, CO 80202 with a Mass to follow at 10 am and then the reception. The burial will be at 2:15 pm at Fort Logan National Cemetery, 4400 West Kenyon Avenue, Denver, CO 80236.
