Eric David Becker

Eric David Becker, 41, of Denver, Colorado passed away on July 6, 2012. Eric was born in Monterey, California to Dennis and Earlene Becker. He attended elementary schools in Mason City and Fort Dodge, Iowa and Albuquerque, New Mexico. He graduated from Chatfield Senior High in 1989 and earned a B.A. in Communications from Colorado State University. He was an accomplished chef and worked in many fine restaurants in Delray Beach, Florida and the Denver area. He was an avid fan of the CSU Rams, Manchester United, and Miami Heat, and enjoyed music, movies, podcasts, and playing with Emma the Scottish terrier. He loved the beach but felt most at home in the kitchen. Those of us who were lucky enough to enjoy his food felt his abundant love in every bite. He is survived by his parents, Dennis and Earlene Becker, his sister, Amy Becker, and a large and loving extended family. Visitation will be Saturday, July 14, 2012, 10:00am to 11:00am, Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 3101 South Wadsworth Boulevard, Lakewood, Colorado 80227.
