Erik Ezra Haslem

Erik Ezra Haslem, age 27, died in Lakewood, Colorado on Sunday, May 12, 2019. Erik suffered severe brain injuries and a severed spinal cord as a result of a traffic accident.

Erik was born on June 17, 1991 in Cincinnati, Ohio. After graduating from Eastern Kentucky University in 2013, he moved to Golden, Colorado. Erik began his own business in 2017, Mountain's Wax Limited, which specialized in professional ski and snowboard wax and tuning services.

Erik enjoyed the outdoors, especially the Colorado mountains. He had many interests including: motorcycle riding and racing, hiking, skiing, snowboarding, and (most recently) playing the cello.

Erik is survived by his parents, William and Jane, his sisters, Lauren Ruhrold (Nick) and Rachel, his grandparents, Norb and Pat Bruns and William Sr. and Deanna Haslem, as well as numerous loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

A memorial service will be held in Lakewood, Colorado at 4:30pm on Wednesday, May 15 at Addenbrooke Park (600 South Kipling Parkway, Lakewood, CO 80226). The funeral will be held in Cincinnati, Ohio on Friday, May 24.
