Erlene Ashley

Erlene Marie Ashley, age 78, died at Denver Hospice on November 3, 2020.

Born September 29, 1942 in Denver, CO to George and Cecilia Dreher who preceded her in death.

Erlene is survived by her 4 brothers, Ron (Karen) , Allen, Gary and Vernon; 3 daughters  Lauri Hazelton (Erin), Dawn Herrin (Chuck), Denice Wright (Scott); 12 grandchildren, Aaron, Jake (Ashley), Daniel (Katie), Corban, Tiffani, Joshua,  Cory (Lorna), Nichole, Cody (Becky), Tanner, Kylee and Skyler; and 8 great grandchildren Mark, Christine, Vincent, Kota, Makenna, Tristan, Zayla, and Logan; many nieces and nephews.

Erlene graduated from Cathedral High School and worked as a bookkeeper and accountant at MGMA and Kaiser.

Erlene was a steadfastly loyal , caring woman who loved country dancing, teaching water aerobics, the Rockies, antiques and art until Parkinson’s took its hold. Though it never stopped her from loving and laughing with her family and so many lovely friends.

We love her, we miss her, we celebrate her being a part of our lives.
