Erma Louise Ellis, age 98, passed away peacefully on March 14, 2025, after a short stay at the Mesilla Valley Hospice, Las Cruces. New Mexico.
She was born on October 15, 1926, in Bloom City, Wisconsin. Her parents were Flossie Belle and George W. Myers. She was the 4th of 6 children. She was raised on a dairy farm where she learned her great work ethics.
In 1946, she traveled to Roswell, New Mexico, to visit her sister, Virginia. While there, she met Jack and they were married July 3 1946. They had 2 girls, Jacki and Deborah.
In 1963, the family moved to Golden, Colorado. In 1985, she and Jack moved to Thornton, Colorado. She stayed there after Jack's passing in 1991. In October 2024, she moved to Las Cruces, New Mexico to live with her daughter, Deborah.
Erma joined the Riverside Baptist Church family in 1964. She volunteered at the church several days week. She really enjoyed doing the Bronco parking.
She was a homemaker, worked as an Officer Manager/billing clerk in the HVAC industry. She enjoyed gardening, crocheting, puzzling, playing board games, dominoes, and cards.
Erma is survived by her daughter, Deborah Angell.

Janet Kihn, Nancy and Brew Newton, Rick and Ann Myers, Varney and Melissa Brandt, Kerri Shaw, and many great nieces and nephews.
Services will be held on April 3, 2025, at 9:30 a.m. at Horan & McConaty Mortuary, 3101 South Wadsworth, Lakewood, CO. Burial will follow at Fort Logan National Cemetery.
