Ernest Contrearas

Ernest Eloy Contrearas born May 6, 1930, passed away February 22, 2006. Preceded in death by his parents Antonio and Grace, and his daughter Helen Lacey. He leaves behind his wife Phyllis; children Carol, Tina, Ernest Contrearas, John (Joan) Kalista, Rosemarie Kalista, Debbie (Tim) Reedy, Michael Contrearas, Diane Koch, Margaret (Dave) Osterman, Frieda (Todd) Reppert, Anntionette Romero; 21 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. He was retired Army and a member of the Korean Ex-POW Association, VFW, Purple Heart Association, and the Military Order of the Cooties as well as TEV Edelweiss. Viewing at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel 4:00-6:00 p.m., followed by Rosary at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, 9998 Grant St., Mass at Holy Trinity Catholic Church 10:00 a.m. Thursday, 7595 Federal Blvd., followed by Interment at Fort Logan National Cemetery, 3698 S. Sheridan Blvd., Denver.
