Ernest T. Martinez

Ernest T. Martinez, 96, of Denver, Colorado, passed away on June 14, 2018. Ernie was born in Trinidad, Colorado and passed away on June 14, 2018. He was a career USMC Master Gunnery Sargent (Retired) and fought with distinction in WW2, Korea, and Vietnam. Ernie was also proud of his peacetime work representing the United States of America abroad. One of eight children, he will be remembered fondly by his large extended family, and many friends. A visitation will be held on Monday, June 25,2018 from 6-8pm at the Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 3101 South Wadsworth Boulevard, Lakewood, Colorado.. Graveside Service with full military honors will held onTuesday, June 26, 2018 at 11:15am at Fort Logan National Cemetery;3698 South Sheridan Boulevard, Denver, Colorado, Staging Area C.
