Ernest G. Rogers

Ernie ""Soldier"" Rogers, age 94, of Littleton, CO passed away August 12, 2009. He was born to George and Robbie Rogers on January 1, 1915 in Saltville, VA. Ernie is survived by his daughter, Linda (Greg) Hearn and son, Russell Rogers; grandchildren: Adrienne (Dillon) Stengel, Rachelle (Kimel) Brent; great-grandchildren, Hailey and Caleb Stengel; nieces, Carrol and Diane; nephews, James ""Peanut"", David. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marie; parents, George and Robbie Rogers; brothers: Irvin, Dale and Robert; sister, Eunice. ""Soldier"" was retired after 30 years of duty to his country and was a Wake Island P.O.W. A Funeral Service will be held Thursday August 20, 2009, 11:00 AM at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 3101 S.
