Ernest Gene 'Duke' Vigil

Ernest Gene ""Duke"" Vigil, 86 years of age, of Denver, Colorado, passed away on February 3, 2012. Duke was born on March 31, 1925 in Walsenburg, Colorado. He served in the US Army Air Corp during the Second World War. He later worked and retired from the B.N.S.F. Railroad. Duke is survived by his son James and his daughter Charlene; his grandchildren Audrey, Michele, Karen and Jake; his great-grandchildren Jamie, Angelica, Josiah, Elizabeth, and Felix Jr; his great-great grandchilden Gabriella and Cisco; his brother Joesph Frank; and his sisters Priscilla and Margaret. A Visitation for Duke begins at 6:00pm on Thursday, February 9, 2012 and is followed by the Recitation of the Rosary at 7pm, both at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 3020 Federal Blvd., Denver, Colorado. A Funeral Service will be held at 10:30am on Friday, February 10, 2012 at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 3020 Federal Blvd., Denver, Colorado. Interment to follow at Ft. Logan National Cemetery.
