Ervin J Bingham, 86, WWII pilot in the 14th Air Force of the China Burma India Theater, son of John Henry Bingham and Hilda Leona Nielsen, passed away on the morning of April 6, 2011. He was born in Spanish Fork, Utah on December 21, 1924. He is survived by his sweetheart of 65 years, Colleen McKell Bingham to whom he was married for eternity on October 15, 1946 in the Salt Lake City Temple. He is also survived by his four children Wayne Ervin Bingham, Lee Ann Bingham Call, Seth Vernon Bingham, Mark David Bingham, their respective spouses Linda LaGrange, Richard L. Call, Donna Spencer Bingham and Debra Damstedt Bingham, 15 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. Ervin's professional career was with the Chevrolet Motor Division of General Motors, from which he retired after 32 years as Regional Fleet Manager. A Funeral service will be held at 11:00am on Monday, April 11, 2011 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 6705 So. Webster St., Littleton. A viewing will be held at the Church from 10:00am-10:45am. A Graveside service will be held at the Spanish Fork City Cemetery, 420 South 400 East, Spanish Fork, Utah, on Tuesday, April 12, 2011 at 11:00am, under the direction of Walker Mortuary.
