Esther Flores Gonzales

Esther Flores Gonzales, 80, of Highlands Ranch, Co. passed away at her residence with her family by her side. Esther was born in Hamlin, Texas on October 18, 1938. She was the daughter of Gilberto Flores and Eva Ortiz. She graduated from Abilene High School in Abilene, Texas in 1957. And married Crestino H. Gonzales on August 22, 1958 in Abilene Texas.

She is survived by her husband Crestino, daughter Kristina Tesvich of Highlands Ranch, Co and son Gilbert Eric Gonzales of Parker, Co. She is also survived by her 5 grandchildren. Jacob Tesvich, Gabriella Tesvich, Carter Gonzales, Cordero Gonzales and Samantha Gonzales.

Esther worked as a secretary for La Paloma Elementary school where her children attended. For a majority of her career she worked for the Department of the Interior serving as an executive secretary. Both she and Cres are retired Federal Government employees which allowed them to work and travel throughout the United States, Europe and Canada. She was also an active member at Mission Hills Church in Littleton, Co. She enjoyed living where it was cold and snowed. She loved the Rocky Mountains of Canada and Colorado, but most of all she loved spending time with her grandchildren.
