Esther Kammen

Esther Kammen, 88, passed away on May 10, 2017. She was born in Havana, Cuba to Abraham and Rachel Novet on November 16, 1928. Esther married Jerome Z. Litt on March 28, 1948 in Brooklyn, New York. They went on to have 3 children, Erica (Jerry) Rosen, Monica (Greg) Lobser, and Jessica (Michael) Lewis. After the marriage ended, Esther married Irving Kammen on October 10, 1981. She is survived by her 2 daughters, Monica and Jessica, step daughter Carole, and 8 grandchildren, Elizabeth Rosen, David, Sarah, Daniel Lobser, Zachary, Jacob, Rachel Lewis, and Zachary Kammen-Harwood. Esther is preceded in death by her husband Irving, daughter Erica Rosen and step son Jon Kammen. Esther's passion was music and she believed ""Laughter is the best medicine"", and ""The glass is always half-full"". Most people will remember Esther for her constant smile that lit up the room, her humming, singing, piano playing, and coloring. We will all miss her dearly.
