Esther Marie Tanguay

When Esther was a young girl in school, a nun told her that if she prayed the Hail Mary three times every night before bed, she would be guaranteed a place in heaven. She took that to heart and did it every night from that day on. As part of her last rites and to honor her, the family prayed the Hail Mary three times for Esther. Consider this devotion as well, to strengthen your love and adoration in Christ. Esther Marie Tanguay was born September 18, 1930 in Park, Kansas to Anton Ochs and Eleanora Heier Ochs, and passed away June 27, 2013. She is survived by her children Judy Sadar and her husband Dick, Connie Chester and her husband Jim, Kenneth Goetz and his wife Marilyn and Leon Goetz; sister Rosemary Goetz and brothers Billie Ochs and Leo Ochs. She is also survived by her grandchildren Lisa Sadar, Jason Goetz, Toni McNichol, Jessica Wagner and Lesley Weiman and her great grandchildren, Jack Sadar, Brandt Goetz, Bryce Goetz, Austin Goetz, Kilian McNichol and Olivia McNichol. Visitation will be Sunday 5PM, followed by the Rosary at 6PM at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel 7577 West 80th Avenue. The Funeral Mass will be Monday 10:30 AM at Spirit of Christ Catholic Church, 7400 West 80th Avenue. Interment will be at Mount Olivet Cemetery.
