Esther Norma Waddy

Esther N. Waddy, 77, of Denver, passed away suddenly on March 13, 2017 in Presbyterian St. Lukes Medical Center. Born on September 17, 1939 in Colorado, she was the daughter of the late Amadeo and Rose (Arellano) Gallegos. Esther is survived by her husband, Jim Waddy; her children: Mark Brooks, Beth (Tony) Snider, Diana Taipalus, James Waddy, Christopher (Melissa) Waddy, and Adam (Kathrine) Waddy; her grandchildren: Marsha Brooks, Doni Taipalus, Robert Brooks, Ronnie Love, Emily Snider, Ryan Taipalus, Kindra Love, Audrey Snider, Leslie Snider, Mason Waddy, Stella Waddy, and Cassidy Waddy; her great grandchildren: Riley Taipalus, Lexi Brooks, Christopher Love, and the Taipalus Twins; her siblings: Madeline (Len) Moog, Rudy (Leona) Gallegos, Joann Alarid, Connie (Ray) Hogg, Maxine Gallegos, and Gary Gallegos; and numerous nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by Thomas Gallegos and Victor Alarid. A visitation will be held on Sunday, March 19, 2017 from 2-4PM, with a rosary service at 4PM at Horan & McConaty HeartLight Center, 11150 E Dartmouth Ave. Aurora, CO 80014. A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, March 22, 2017 at 10AM at Church of the Risen Christ, 3060 S Monaco Pkwy, Denver, CO, followed by a reception at 11AM in the church hall. Everyone is welcome to meet at Fort Logan National Cemetery for a committal service at 3:15PM, staging area C.
