Ethel E. Henderson

October 8, 1939 — March 22, 2020

On Sunday, March 22, 2020, Ethel Henderson, beloved wife, mother of two and grandmother of four, passed away peacefully at the age of 80.

Ethel was born in St. Charles Missouri on October 8, 1939. She received a Bachelor of Science in Education from the University of Missouri in Education 1960, and spent many years teaching kindergarten. She was also a Sunday School Teacher, and served in Braille ministry, Mary & Martha, Square Halos, Stephen Ministry, Bible Study Fellowship, Community Ministry, and the Lutheran Women's Missionary League. She spent her life as a dedicated servant of Jesus Christ.

Ethel loved spending time with her family, and was very active with her four grandchildren. She also loved gardening, reading, and sewing.

She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Charles Henderson, daughters Landy (Tom) and Sandy (Kelly), grandchildren Ryan Williams, Katelin Matson, Abigail Williams and Casandra Matson, brother Larry Ehlmann, and sister Illene Powell. She was preceded in death by her brother Wayne Ehlmann, and parents Robert & Verna Ehlmann.

Due to the COVID-19 restrictions, a video link for the service will be provided by requesting it from the family.
