Ethel Hill

Ethel Elizabeth Hill of Denver, a mother and homemaker died May 29 at home. She was 96. Born December 2, 1919, on a homestead in Cambria, WY, Ethel was the fifth of six children. She graduated from high school in Rock Springs, WY, after which she moved to Denver in 1937. On December 14, 1947, she married Edgar W. Hill, to whom she remained lovingly devoted until his death in 1995. She was a member of the Gourmet Piglets for over 30 years. She is survived by her son Michael, his wife Rozalia, who she came to know, love and depend on in her later life, E. Steven, her son and four grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held Thursday, 6/4 at 2 PM at Washington Park United Church of Christ, 400 South Williams Street, Denver, 80209. In lieu of flowers, Ethel was interested in helping an Austrian volunteer agency that helps the very poor and orphans. 100% of your donation will reach the people who need the help.
