Ethel ""Jinx"" Mayville

Ethel ""Jinx"" Mayville, 72, of Aurora, CO passed away on May 16, 2017. Ethel was a founding member of St. Michael the Archangel Parish, and was a graduate of the first class of the Denver Catholic Biblical School. Ethel was an Air Traffic Controller in the U.S. Navy where she met her husband on the parachute team. She was a registered nurse for nearly 40 years. She loved scrap booking and making crafts. She loved to sing and was a member of her church choir for many years. She was always the first one on the dance floor and loved traveling. She had many different friends from many different walks of life. She was a woman of deep faith, and was devoted to her family. She was a woman who truly lived. Ethel is preceded in death by her beloved husband Albert Mayville. She is survived by her three daughters, seven grandchildren, and two great grandchildren. A Funeral Mass will be held for Ethel at St. Michael the Archangel (19099 E Floyd Ave, Aurora, CO 80013) Thursday May 25th at 1030AM, reception immediately following. Interment at Fort Logan National Cemetery at a later date. Memorial Donations may be made out to Denver Hospice (8299 E Lowry Blvd, Denver, CO 80230).
