Ethel Mae Sand

Ethel Mae Sand passed away at home April 8, 2006 at the age of 91. She was the beloved wife of Reyno T. Sand for 67 years. She is also survived by her children Thomas J. and his wife, Charlotte, of Dayton, OH, and Katherine Lopez and her husband Michael of Aloha, OR; grandchildren Thomas (Anne) Sand, Jr., Jennifer (James) Tighe, Ellen (Adam) Miller, Kristin (James) Lopez-York, Michael Lopez, Jr., and Susan Lopez-Henri; great grandchildren Charles, Andrew, Elinor, Marguerite, Lauren, Samuel, Amy, Katie, Megan, Molly, Justin, and Sydnie; and sister, Dorothy McKenzie. Three sisters, Bess Dakan, Betty Bingham and Roberta Green, precede Ethel in death. A Memorial Service celebrating Ethel's life is being held Tuesday, April 11, 2006, at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 1091 S. Colorado Blvd., in Denver Colorado. In lieu of flowers the family has requested memorial contributions be made to Team Cure ALS, 5515 SW 191st Ct., Beaverton, OR 97007.
