Etheldreda Mary Hartman nee Ast With great sadness we convey the loss of our Wife, Mom, Grandmother, and Great-Grandmother, Etheldreda (Dreda) Mary Hartman, 78, of Northglenn, passed at 8:25 pm on Tuesday, September 29, 2015. Dreda was born March 8, 1937, in Kingman County, Kansas to Clemens John Ast and Agnes Josephine Ast nee Hermes. Dreda was a housewife, but more than that, she was a loving and devoted Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother and a caring friend. She was always helping others including actively volunteering at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church. Her love and kindness will be greatly missed. She was preceded in death by her parents: Clemens John Ast and Agnes Josephine Ast nee Hermes; son-in-law: Timothy Quinton Blake; brother Larry Ast; sister-in-law: Patty Ast; brother-in-law: Craig Holsinger. She is survived by her husband Charles Vincent Hartman Jr.; children: William Joseph (Leah Cayuvet) Hartman, Jane Katheryn Blake, Samuel Joseph (Renee Elizabeth) Hartman, Peter John (Laura Lynn) Hartman, Susanne Marie Hartman and George Vincent (Teresa Marie) Hartman; grandkids: Angela Lynn (Charles Richard) McDaniel, step-granddaughter Brianna Nichole (Cody James Wayne) Jones, James Vincent (Danielle Paige) Ehrlich, Aaron Joseph (Crystle Laura) Hartman, Sami Jo Hartman, step-granddaughter Kayla Ann Murray, Ashley Marie Hartman, Heather Marie Hartman, Douglas Quinton Blake, Zachary Tyler Hartman, Jennifer Katheryn Blake, Molly Marie Hartman, Dante Charles Hartman, Bronwyn Mary Hartman and Anastasia Kathryn Hartman; Great Grandkids: Pebbles Lynne McDaniel, Torrance Nicole McDaniel, Carson Wayne, Carter James Jones, Aunah Lea Hartman, Brinly Rae Odell-Hartman; step-great grandsons: Easton Harvey Jones, Beau Vincent Ehrlich and Hunter Joseph Hartman; siblings: Leroy (Ann) Ast, Shirlene (Zeke) Hommertzheim, Tom (Louise) Ast, Clem Ast, Jr., Ted (Kathy) Ast, Lorraine (Chris) Jeter, Virgil (Barbara) Ast, Sharon Holsinger, Daryl (Malinda) Ast, Gary (Paula) Ast, Cecil (Lisa) Ast, Cletus (Sherri) Ast. Viewing at 6:00 pm with Recitation of the Rosary to follow at 7:00 pm, Sunday, October 4, 2015 at the Grant Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 9998 Grant Street, Thornton, CO. Funeral Mass at 10:30 am, Monday, October 5, 2015 at Immaculate Heart of Mary, 11385 Grant Drive, Northglenn, CO. Burial to follow at the Elmwood Cemetery, 14800 Old Brighton Road, Brighton, CO.
