Etta H. Covey

Etta H. Covey, 81, of Denver passed away on Tuesday, October 24, 2017 in her home. Born on December 28, 1935 in Wyalusing, PA she is the daughter of Harold and Katherine (Robbins) Lattimer. Etta married Howard B. Covey, Jr. on July 18, 1953 and they shared 64 years of marriage. Howard passed away in December of 2016. Etta and Howard owned and operated a fast food restaurant and a steak house for 6 years. They lived the Military life where Howard served in the Air Force for 20 years. She loved spending time reading and being with her family. She was very generous, donating to several charities. Etta is survived by her sons: Patrick “Pat” Covey and his wife, Sophia, and Michael Covey and his wife, Margaret; 4 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Her daughter Judie A. Seto preceded her in death. A funeral service for Etta will be held on Tuesday, October 31, 2017 at 11AM at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 11150 E Dartmouth Ave. Aurora, CO 80014. Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Etta’s family at 10AM at the funeral home.
