Eugene L. ""Geno"" Acosta

Eugene ""Geno"" Acosta, born October 20, 1941, loving husband, father, grandfather, uncle, family member and friend, died on July 31st, 2017 in Denver. Colorado. Geno is survived by his loving wife Regina; daughter Dawn (Harold); son Geno (Robin); grandchildren Felipe, Brianna, Isaiah, Jeremiah, and Jonathan; great-grandchildren Roman and Ezra; many nieces, nephews, family members and friends. Geno's most valuable possessions in his world was his love for his family, and his friends who he treated like family. Known for his infectious smile, and beautiful sense of humor, Geno retired from the City and County of Denver after over 20 years of service in the District Attorney's office. You were only a stranger once to him, as he greeted everyone with heartfelt and genuine affection. Visitation will be held at Horan & McConaty on Monday August 7th from 4-8 PM at 3101 S. Wadsworth, Lakewood, CO 80227. Rosary and Mass will be held on Wednesday, August 9th, at 10:00 AM at Horan & McConaty with burial services at Fort Logan National Cemetery to follow immediately after.
