Eva Genevieve Martinez

Eva Genevieve Martinez, age 85, passed away in her home in Aurora, Colo. on December 18, 2012, surrounded by love with her family. She was born January 23, 1927 to Joe and Josephine (Martinez) Roybal in Trinidad, Colo. She attended school in La Junta and was later married to Felix Martinez on June 10, 1947. Eva was a top sales representative for Kentucky Central Life Insurance. Eva enjoyed playing cards with her family members, bowling, bingo and an occasional trip up the hill to play blackjack. Eva is survived by her husband Felix Martinez, 2 children Peggy Linda Guerrero and Tippy (Carol) Martinez, 4 grandchildren; Kelli (Glenn) Diaz, Jacen (Debbie) Martinez, Courtney (Casey) Connor and Isaiah (Katie) Guerrero, 9 great grandchildren, Casey, Tyler, Ryan, Acacia, Kendra, Jacinda, Victor, Callista and Caden. A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, December 22, 2012 at 10:00 in the morning at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 13670 E. 13th Place in Aurora.
