Eva Porreca Roeder, 96, born and a native of Denver, Colorado, died Monday, March 20, of natural causes. She was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Charles W. Roeder and her daughter, Marie D. Dunn. Eva is survived by her son, E. Wesley DuChemin (Joan) of Peoria, Arizona, and four granddaughters, Cheryl Luck, Kelly Hamilton, Annette Giacoman, and Denise Premac. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and six great-grandchildren. Eva worked for Frankel Carbon and Ribbon for 44 years, retiring in her late 70's. She was a life long Denver resident and was granted her greatest wish to die in her own home. Funeral services will be held at Notre Dame Catholic Church, 2190 So. Sheridan Blvd., on Friday, March 24, 2006, at 11:00 A.M., with Monsignor Leo Horrigan presiding. Visitation rights will be held at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 3101 So. Wadsworth Blvd. with visitation rights held from 3:00 to 8:00 P.M. on Thursday; rosaries and prayers for Eva will be welcome and may be prayed on an individual basis, as desired, at visitation hours. Following the Funeral Mass at Notre Dame, Eva will be entombed at Mount Olivet Cemetery beside her deceased husband. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Notre Dame Catholic Church or Vista Care Hospice.
