Evan Reid Lichtenfels

Evan Reid Lichtenfels passed away suddenly on May 16, 2013, at the age of 35, due to a medical complication following ankle surgery. Evan was born on May 25, 1977 in Denver, Colorado. A revered father, husband, son, brother and friend, Evan was a spirited outdoorsman with a particular passion for fly fishing. Evan was a graduate of Graland Country Day School, East High School and Boston College. He was the Director of Real Estate Development for Red Peak Properties. Evan was preceded in death by his father, John Reid, and is survived by his devoted wife, Heather, his son Owen Reid (6), his daughter Margaret Elise (5), his son William Hardy (8 months), his mother, Hanne, his brother, Kristian, his maternal grandmother, Elise Gatzka, of South Bend, Indiana, and an abundance of extended family and lifelong friends. Services will be held on Friday, May 24 at 10:00 am at the Church of Good Shepherd. In lieu of flowers, a trust has been established for the benefit of Evan's children: Lichtenfels Children's Trust, c/o Citywide Banks, 55 Madison Street, Denver, Colorado 80206.
