Evelina M. Mora

May 1, 1925 — October 6, 2011

Evelina May Mora peacefully went home on October 6, 2011 to join her beloved husband, John B. Mora, and grandson, Todd Childs. She was a gentle and caring soul loved by all, a great listener, teacher, story teller and will be greatly missed. She is the loving mother of David Mora and Susan (Ira) Sealy. She is survived by countless friends and family as well as five grandchildren: Nancy Ann Mora, Shelley- Renaeé (Mark) Sealy-Climp, Leona (Thomas) McElhone, Jana (Casey) Curtin and Shawn (Nicole) Sealy. Evelina is also blessed with ten amazing great-grandchildren: Rayne Sealy, Olympia Zampathas, Dimitri Zampathas, Skylar Sealy, Matthew Sealy, Trea McElhone, Johnny McElhone, Joy Sealy, Evelina McElhone and Cameron Sealy. For someone that didn't drive, Ev sure got around! From traveling to Utah and Charleston in her early years to a European cruise with her family, her travels took her from New York to San Francisco and included wonderful visits to Texas, Florida, Louisiana, Spain and more. Of course there were a ton of wonderful family memories made in Hawaii and Maui too. Ev worked on advertising layouts and more for the Denver Post and she loved reading her daily paper. She and John were successful entrepreneurs with their retail stores Yesterday's Corner and Rambling Rose. No matter what it was, she was always ready for a new adventure with her family!
