Father David A. Wayne, S.J.

Rev. David A. Wayne, S.J., 76, died May 8, 2014. He was a Jesuit for 59 years and a priest for 45 years. Father David was born in Decatur, IL to Albert and Isabel Wayne. He entered St. Stanislaus Seminary in Florissant, MO in August, 1955, continuing studies At Fusz Memorial, Saint Louis University, St. Mary's College, and University of Detroit. He was Ordained in June, 1968 in St. Louis Cathedral, MO. He served Apostolic Assignments in St. Louis, MO, Belize, and Denver, CO. Father David is survived by his brother William M. Wayne, and sisters Elizabeth Torcasso, Susan Welch, and Nan Schmidbauer. His family will receive guests Saturday, May 10, 5-7 PM; followed by Mass of the Resurrection, 7 PM at Regis Jesuit High School, Girls Division Chapel, 16300 E. Lewiston Way, Aurora, CO 80016.
