Flora M. Amborn

A longtime resident of Colorado Springs passed away on Tuesday June 15, 2010 at the Life Care Center of Aurora. Mother of Linda Lyman (Roger), stepsons Jack Amborn (Ellen) and Fred Amborn III ( Mary), stepdaughter Alyce Baker (Steve). Grandmother of Dawn Sandoval as well as an additional 11 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandson. Sister of Charlie Martinez (Maxine) and Vino Anthony (Jackie). Aunt of several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her husband Frederick Amborn II; daughter Charlotte Aranda; stepdaughter Kathy Amborn: granddaughter Dena Schott; siblings Fred Martinez, Philip Martinez, Johnny Martinez, Bernie Martinez and Lucy Meadows. Services will be held Monday June 21, 2010, 11:00 a.m. at 1st Lutheran Church, 1515 N. Cascade Ave. A reception will follow at the Garden of the Gods Club, 3320 Mesa Rd.
