Florence Regas

It is with sadness and with hope in our Lord's Resurrection to inform you that Florence Regas passed away on December 11, 2020.

Florence was born in Chicago, Illinois to Constantine Kinnas and Marika (Chrones) Kinnas. She was the oldest of three children and was raised in a home filled with music, laughter, delicious food and unconditional love. Florence shared wonderful memories of growing up in a loving family with many aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends.

Florence was a dedicated member of her church and a gifted musician. She began playing the church organ at age 12. It was at church where she met her husband, George Regas. Florence and George had three children and later moved to Colorado. Florence was a successful realtor in the Denver area for many years and assisted her husband and brother-in-law in running their family business, Bowlero Lanes in Lakewood, Colorado. She is remembered as a great cook, gracious hostess and loving friend.

Florence is survived by her daughters, Cynthia (Ted) Stavropoulos and Marcie (Nick) Alexos, her grandchildren Nicholas, Angelique, Constantine, Michael and Justinian, her brother Dr. Nicholas Kinnas and sister Connie (Dr. James) Maniatis and many loving nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, George, and son, Dean.

Private funeral services will be held at Saint Catherine Greek Orthodox Church. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Iconography Fund at Saint Catherine Greek Orthodox Church, 5555 S. Yosemite Street, Greenwood Village, CO 80111.
